Premier Education announced as finalist in national business awards
We are thrilled to have been named a finalist in the Franchisor of the Year category within the prestigious 2023 BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards.
As the leading provider of sport and activity to primary schools in the UK, our businesses work hard every day to deliver high-quality services which not only make a positive impact on children’s lifestyles, but help to encourage a love for sport early on.
Commenting on the announcement, chief executive David Batch said: “Being recognised as a finalist is a huge testament to the strength of our fantastic network of businesses. Our mission as a company is to make a real difference to the overall health and wellbeing of the younger generation, to encourage a love for sport and activity, but also to provide much-needed support to schools.

Founded in 1977, the British Franchise Association (BFA) is a self-regulating governing body, formed to accredit and promote franchise systems that meet strict ethical and business criteria.

UK Head of Franchise, Commercial Banking at sponsors HSBC Bank Gillian Morris said: “Shortlisting candidates for the HSBC bfa Awards is one of the toughest challenges of the year, once more the candidates were a very high standard, and it was very tough to shortlist just a few entries. I was really impressed at the diversity of entries across brands and sectors, which is a great testament of the strength and reach of the franchise industry. Winners will be announced at a gala black-tie event following the BFA’s annual conference on 9th November 2023.
